Student houses near Newcastle University
Jesmond sits just north of Newcastle University, and it is where a lot of students move once first-year halls are over. From most of our houses the walk to campus takes around 15 to 20 minutes, through leafy Victorian streets. If it is raining, Jesmond Metro station is one stop from Haymarket, right beside the university.
All of our houses are in Jesmond, on Osborne Avenue, Shortridge Terrace, Tankerville Terrace, Buston Terrace, St George's Terrace and Fairfield Road. They range from four to nine bedrooms, and rent runs from £155 to £190 per person per week.
Most of them are built around the shared space: a real home bar, a pool table, table tennis and a big screen on the wall. Many bedrooms are ensuite, and most houses include a cleaner for the shared areas during term time.
